Radio Giants
Biography
The Radio Giants play their own unique blend of American music that is rooted in the foundations of rock, country, and blues, all brought together with modern pop sensibilities. Their songs travel the highways and byways of the American landscape, unraveling the threads that bind us together and tear us apart. Themes of lost opportunities, regret, longing, hope, and happiness play out in their music.
The Radio Giants are composed of Steve Collard, Tom Brady, Mack Stilson, and Dan Kelly. Steve and Tom are the primary contributing songwriters for the Radio Giants.
Steve is featured on vocals, guitar, lap-steel and bass. Born in Southern California and raised in Oregon, he moved back to Los Angeles where he was actively involved in the music scene for several years. Steve has since returned to Oregon for the quality of life and rich music environment.
Tom is featured on guitar and vocals. Tom was born in New York but moved at an early age to Texas. Although Tom has lived in Oregon most of his adult life, his upbringing in Texas, and later New Mexico, has had a profound influence on his songwriting.
Mack is featured on bass, guitar, and vocals. Mack has lived in Oregon, Canada and Alabama and has played up and down the West Coast in various bands throughout the years.
Dan keeps the Radio Giants on time from behind his drum-kit. Dan is a native Oregonian and has had a long musical collaboration with Tom.
Together, Steve, Tom, Mack, and Dan create a musical whole that both satisfies and challenges the listener. While on your journey down the highway of life, stop a moment and tune into the Radio Giants. You’ll be glad you shared the ride.
